Here’s a collection of cutting boards I’ve made. If you’re interested in commissioning one, shoot me an email, or check out my Etsy Store.

A Simple Walnut Cutting Board

Walnut - 12½″ × 18½″ × 1½″

This was the first end-grain cutting board I made. It was a Christmas gift for family friends. I wish I had better pictures of it with a finish! There was a knot-hole in the bottom that I made a plug for, and it fixed the problem quite nicely.

Cubic Stairs

This was my first attempt at an optical illusion board. The goal was evoke a sense of intersecting cubes, and I think it came out pretty well!

Woven Wood

Cherry, Maple, Walnut - 6½″ × 24½″ × 1½″

This was a commissioned charcuterie board, which is why it’s so long. A real challenge to make, because all the individual pieces need to be glued up at the same time. The board was CNC flattened and then hand-sanded.

Blinds

Maple, Walnut - 12½″ × 18½″ × 1½″

Experimenting with more geometrical shapes. A simpler board, the focus was on using the CNC to accurately route a juice groove into the top.

Biggun’

Maple, Walnut, Padauk, Purple Heart - 16½″ × 18½″ × 1½″

A big board made with friends (one of two we made that weekend!). The CNC made the rounded edges and a rounded chamfer along the bottom. The Purple Heart and Padauk are beautiful additions to the board.
